Important Notice: AI-Generated Artwork

Please note that we do not accept AI-generated artwork for printing.

• AI-generated images may look good on screen, but are not suitable for large-format printing due to quality loss when scaled.
• Most AI images are created in RGB, while print requires CMYK or correct print profiles.
• We require print-ready files such as PDF, EPS, or TIFF.
• Flattened images cannot be properly edited for production.
• Low-resolution images will pixelate when enlarged.
• Proper bleed, margins, and cut paths are required for production.

Our artwork requirements:

• Original artwork files
• Logos
• Images
• Fonts (where applicable)
• Correct templates supplied

Our standard setup fee of R150.00 Excl. VAT applies only to print-ready artwork supplied correctly.

AI or non-print-ready artwork may require redesign at additional cost.

Standard lead time: 5–7 working days after approval.

Artwork Upload Requirements

Please note that we do not accept AI-generated artwork for printing.

• AI-generated images may look good on screen, but they are often not suitable for large-format printing. These images can become blurry, distorted, pixelated, or contain hidden errors when enlarged for print.
• Most AI images are created in RGB because they are made for screens. Printers work with CMYK, spot colours, or device-specific ink profiles.
• Clients often submit AI artwork as PNG or JPEG only. For large-format printing, companies prefer proper production files such as PDF, TIFF, EPS, with correct scale, bleed, trim, colour setup, and linked or embedded assets.
• A flat AI-generated JPEG is hard to edit because the printer cannot easily separate text, logos, background, cut lines, or brand elements.
• AI images are often generated at screen-friendly sizes such as 1024×1024 px or 2048×2048 px. These may appear sharp on screen but can become blurry or pixelated when enlarged for print.
• Large-format print often needs bleed, margins, panel overlaps, crop marks, contour-cut paths, eyelet positions, and safe zones. AI images do not include these requirements.

Our Artwork Requirements

To ensure the best print quality, we require your original design files, including:

• Original artwork files
• Logos
• Images
• Fonts where applicable
• Artwork supplied on our correct templates

Our standard setup fee of R150.00 Excl. VAT only covers setup of print-ready artwork correctly supplied on our templates in high-resolution vector PDF format.

If AI-generated images are submitted or copied onto our templates, the artwork will not be accepted as print-ready.

In these cases, we will provide a separate quotation to redraw or recreate the design into a proper print-ready format.

Please note that artwork recreation may increase production lead times. Standard lead time is 5–7 working days from approval of final print-ready artwork.

This process ensures your final printed product is clear, professional, and of the highest possible quality.
